Easton, Md. —Design professional Bohnne Jones, owner of the Decorating Den Interiors franchise serving the Nashville area, was named Franchise Owner of the Year at the company’s 49th annual conference and supplier market held this month in Orlando. Decorating Den Interiors is North America’s largest interior design and home furnishings franchise company and leading in-home decorating service.
“Bohnne is an excellent example and mentor for our franchise partners,” said James S. Bugg, Jr., president and CEO. “She is a leader, having been elected to serve on our international franchisee leadership council for two terms. She is an innovative marketer, goal oriented, and has won many design recognitions in the Nashville area.”
The Franchise Owner of the Year is personally selected by Bugg. It must be an owner who is in the top ten percent according to sales and one who serves as a role model for the nearly 300 owners in the U.S. Coincidently, she was the leading franchise owner in North America for sales in the month of April.
“I am thrilled to receive this,” Jones said. “Becoming part of Decorating Den Interiors was an excellent business decision for me. It has helped me serve clients better with top suppliers, given me wonderful camaraderie with others in our industry, and helps me run my business smarter. I am extremely honored that Mr. Bugg selected me for this honor.”
Sales leader award
Jones also received a Prism Award for being in the top 20 franchises for sales in 2017.
“I’ve returned from conference with an extensive library of before and after high resolution digital photographs featuring room makeovers from this year’s Dream Room competition,” Jones said. “They are fabulous designs with interesting stories behind them making for an ideal workshop or seminar program for organizations looking for a speaker for their meetings,” she added.
Decorating Den Interior’s room makeovers have been featured in such publications as Traditional Home, Elle Décor, Better Homes and Gardens, Veranda, the prestigious Canadian publication Arabella, among others.

Decorating Den Interiors was founded in 1969 and has interior design professionals and decorators throughout the U.S. and Canada. Jones has owned her franchise since 2007.
