Nashville Penthouse

Project Overview:

A relocating surgeon requested all new furniture for his penthouse. A curvy wall of 50% windows wrapped around an open space that was to serve as living room dining room and kitchen. This high-rise apartment was light and airy but not very big.

We started with a search for the perfect sofa that would meet his discerning taste, be ready-made, in stock and fit the space. One was found with down blend cushions and pillows of charcoal and deep mustard. The perfect rug was selected to be subtle yet interesting, and blend the sofa colors.

Next we needed a cabinet to supply storage and anchor the 80″ TV, plus be able to fit in the elevator and make it down the winding hallway to his unit. A light colored cabinet was chosen to provide contrast with the dark sofa and pick up the light parts of the rug. We chose a textured wall covering for the TV wall to allow the light cabinet to stand out, and the TV to recede.
